teppanyaki table | Kaiserschmarrn AKA Austrian Emperor’s Scramble on the Teppanyaki

Sometimes all you want is a little bit of sweet comfort. Kaiserschmarrn is the perfect dish to satisfy this craving, and while the name sounds complicated, the dish itself is fast and easy to make. To start preparing the batter, you need to separate the white and yolk eggs and beat the white eggs into soft peaks.

Set aside the egg white fluff, all 3.5 tablespoons. Pour the sugar into the egg yolks and whisk until the sugar dissolves. Gradually stir in 1 cup of milk and continue to stir the mixture until a good ventilated consistency is achieved. If you don't have a hand blender, it can be done with a simple blender, but you need to make real adjustments to maintain the correct consistency. After using egg yolks with sugar and milk, add 1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon tablespoon. Flour, whisk until smooth.

Now it's time for the real fun! Set your egg whites and batter next to each other as well as 4 tablespoons. Butter, 1/3 cup candy and any fruit fillings you may want to add.

For toppings, you can use any fresh fruit you like and even opt for the traditional Austrian cinnamon cinnamon plum candied fruit. The real beauty of this dish is that the base allows for any individual taste in the toppings department! We decided to dip 1 cup of raisins in 1 cup of premium rum and let them soak for a few days beforehand.

Preheat the Cookeryaki teppanyaki cooktop table in 5 places. Once the preheat lamp is off, raise it to 8. If you use a regular stove and frying pan at home, set it to medium heat. Put the butter in the middle so it starts to melt but not brown.

Now is the time to gently fold the fluffy egg whites into the yolk-based batter, making sure they are well mixed and not overmixed. Slowly pour the mixture into the center of the foamed butter.

You will need to give the batter a little time to start cooking here. We use those minutes to add the rum-soaked raisins so they can be scrambled together with pancakes when cooking.

After pouring the batter over the Cookeryaki hibachi grill table for about 3 minutes, we started lifting the edges to check for Browning on the bottom. Ours looks perfect, but if you think your darkness is too fast, you can reduce the temperature by half or the entire gap.

Once the bottom has browned and hardened, gently tear the batter to pieces with two spatulas and turn it over so that the other side begins to brown. At this point, continue to check the batter to make sure it browns and doesn't overcook to keep it nice and fluffy and airy.

When Kaiserschmarrn has finished cooking, turn off the Cookeryaki mobile teppanyaki table or regular stove. Using a sieve, sprinkle pancakes with candy and sugar.

To give you a special flavor, we mix some homemade vanilla sugar with candy sugar. You can make your own at home by scraping the inside of a coupe into a cup of sugar and placing the lid on it for a week.
